Museum of Ice Cream in DTLA

With the boom of social media, this "instagram friendly" museum was a wildly successful business venture. Charge an entry fee and set up the artwork to so that everything became a photo op.. genius. Every parent will bring their kid for the ice cream, every adolescent and millennial will want to go get cool instagram pictures, and the media posts simply generate hype and interest in themselves - no extra marketing needed. I was one of the consumers - I came for the instagram pictures. Well that and I knew getting tickets would make @styleraiders_ super happy.
